Irvine Laidlaw (Economics 1963) is the University’s biggest donor. His £9m gift to support the library which bears his name is the largest single gift ever received by the University.
In this video, he talks about his own time at Leeds, his subsequent career and why he chooses to support his old University, and in particular provide scholarships for students of less privileged backgrounds.
