Ian Slinger – legacy pledger
February 11, 2016 | Simon Jenkins
Ian Slinger (General Studies – Sciences 1964) says he looks back on his time at Leeds with much happiness, and also a sense of gratitude. “I have no doubt that my degree from Leeds enabled me to pursue my chosen career, and I feel that I owe a lot to the University. For these reasons it seemed entirely fitting to leave a percentage of my estate to Leeds. I very much hope that my legacy will help the University to provide students of the future with the same opportunities that I enjoyed as a student.”
